World Auto Racing (WAR) is an engaging collectible card game that is based in Portland, Oregon. The creators approached me with the game concept, alongside various card illustrations and ideas for game play. However, they were seeking an effective way to cohesively bring all these elements together. I collaborated closely with the creators to refine and enhance the overall look and style that they envisioned for the game. The result was a fully developed card game featuring a diverse range of card designs that effectively represent the different deck possibilities. Additionally, we included a comprehensive instruction booklet as well as a quick start guide to help players get going.
The final product was packaged in a sleek box design that appealed to potential players. To our delight, the game experienced remarkable success on Kickstarter, achieving five times its initial funding goal. It has rapidly established itself as one of the leading collectible card games within racing circles all across the nation!
