I’ve had the opportunity to work with Coastwest Unrest for a few years now and it’s been an incredible relationship. I started out designing their tour posters and merch. But when they approached me and asked if I would be interested in designing their upcoming album, I jumped at the opportunity.
The Crazed Ones is Coastwest Unrest’s fifth studio album and they wanted something different that reflected the theme of the music. Being influenced by all the crazed literary and artistic pioneers in this album, it only made sense to pay homage to each one.
The direction of this was to keep strip everything down and present it in a raw and unfiltered way. We didn’t want to get distracted by colorful gradients or abstract backgrounds. We wanted to portray the basic features of the music and who inspired it. In the end, we felt we created exactly that and couldn’t be more proud!
Woodland Empire is a brewery based out of Boise, Idaho, specializing in crafting high-quality beers using local Idaho ingredients.
When the owners first moved to Idaho, they reached out to me because they were fans of my illustration work and wanted to collaborate on a couple can designs. Upon opening, I designed three labels for them to use which can be found in stores across Idaho and parts of Washington and Oregon.
The DOPE Brands campaign was one of my first campaigns at the magazine. We wanted to portray the idea that DOPE Brands has something for everyone , while bringing it into a modern world that speaks to new consumers as well as, lifelong consumers.
Through inspiration of the Brady Bunch, I brought in the idea that each consumer has their own need for this product and each one comes from a different background. By utilizing color to help portray that message we end up with a “mood board” of variety and color.
The end result ended up seeing a surge in product sales for all of our DOPE Brands.
Dopeo Coffee is a coffee company that infuses cannabis with the sweet taste of a cup of joe. The owners wanted to create an infused drink that was different than anything else on the market. Thus Dopeo was formed.
We wanted to create a fun and carefree tone that spoke to a variety of consumers. It needed to portray that this is the drink to get you through the day, rather than a Red Bull.
Bittercreek Alehouse is an American style restaurant that specializes in beer pairing with excellent food options. During the annual American Craft Beer Week, Bittercreek hosted a bar crawl to various breweries and restaurants around Boise. I created a small passport for people top use and get stamped at each location. After they finished every stop they would receive a growler and t-shirt of the poster I designed.
MMJA is an engineering firm located all across the US. After they merged with another company, they decided to refresh their website. Two of the main things they wanted people to see on the homepage were all of their offices and upcoming projects they are getting ready to work on.
The resulting website is something where clients can approach and find the best team to work and area to work with.
3100 Cellars is a sparking winery based out of Garden City, Idaho. The owners are lifelong rafters who spend the majority of their weekends on the river wether it’s in Idaho or in another country.
With 3100 rivers and streams throughout Idaho, they wanted to portray not only their love for rafting, but the abundance of water Idaho offers.
With a die-cut label that mimics a stream set against a topographical map, I wanted to give the consumer that sense of trekking down a river and the uncertainty and thrill that goes along with rafting as they slowly enjoy the wine.
